Perpendicular – the dominant style of Gothic architecture between the 14th and 17th centuries, exclusively found in England.  The third and last Gothic style  (after Early English and Decorated styles) it is characterised by tall circular columns, large windows, four-centred arches, elaborate stone traceries and decorative fan-vaulting.
